We have been trading in spices for 170 years. The foundation for this was set back in 1783, when Johann Nicolaus Worlée took the oath as a spice merchant for the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Many things have come and gone ever since, but the fact that spices belong to Hamburg and also to Worlée has not and will not change any time soon.
