Halogen free flame retardant, based on encapsulated phosphoric compounds for water based polymer dispersions (anionic and cationic) and solvent based polymer binders. Provides effective flame protection to coating systems and polymeric materials.Due to the encapsulation of the active substance (ammonium polyphosphate) it has an extremely low water solubility. This has the advantage of avoiding the risk of wash-out due to environmental influences. The flame retardancy will not be affected in the long term.
