Certified Quality
It would be difficult to find a business sector for which product quality is more important than the food industry. Purchasers of raw materials from Worlée NaturProdukt GmbH may be assured of the most modern quality standards. Internal processes and systems at the traditional Hamburg company have long been certified according to the latest standards.
In 2006 Worlée was one of the first companies to be operating under the stringent requirements of ISO 22000. At that time, ISO 22000 was the first international, comprehensive and certified standard that combined food safety and management systems.
By adhering to Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000), Worlée has demonstrated since 2013 that it also complies with further food safety requirements. The FSSC 22000 is based on ISO 22000 and has been extended by PAS 220. Approved by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), the FSSC 22000 is currently top of the class. Thus, Worlée is assured of maintaining the highest quality standards in the future as well.
Product and production standards such as Bio or Fairtrade (Organic inspection body DE-ÖKO-006) ensure sustainable and fairly traded products.
Since 2009 Worlée NaturProdukte GmbH has belonged to an organization of different companies called Sedex (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange). Sedex’s members have committed to the improvement of ethical conduct. Fair wage and working conditions are to be made as transparent as compliance with environmental guidelines. The Worlée code of behavior and sustainability extends this transparency and goes above and beyond the usual branch standards. This is the only way to guarantee a social, ecological and economic balance with which the Hamburg-based company can be satisfied. Worlée expects this standard not just from itself, but from all of its partners around the world.
